Ken ForbusNetwork Institute mini-workshop with Prof. Ken Forbus on Reasoning by Analogy
this Friday (12th December), 15h-17h, C6.16, FEW building, VU Campus.

Prof Ken Forbus has been one of the leading figures in Artificial Intelligence research for over 30 years, dating back to his seminal paper on Qualitative Process Theory in 1984 (with many thousands of citations).

Prof. Forbus will visit our Department this Friday, the 12th of December. At the occasion of this visit, the Network Institute is organising a small workshop where we will explore the links between Ken Forbus’ current research on Reasoning by Analogy, the research in Qualitative Reasoning at the UvA, and the research on Semantic Web at the VU.

Anybody with an interest in any of these topics is warmly invited to attend this informal workshop:
Friday December 12th, 15h-17h, C6.16 in the FEW Building at the VU Campus.
Please inform Frank.van.Harmelen AT vu.nl in case you want to attend.
