Jantsje Mol from the VU Institute for Environmental Studies wrote an overview article about the possibilities of immersive virtual reality for experimental economics. The review explains essential terminology, gives practical guidelines and describes the currently available high-immersive VR experiments on economics topics. While virtual reality is frequently used in psychology, communication science and spatial planning, VR experiments in economics are relatively new. The review article is published in Journal of Experimental and Behavioral Economics and is available here.
