As we reported earlier the Tech Labs have been working on the Virtual Environment (VE) of a part of Rotterdam. The VE will be used to study the effectiveness of deterring potential criminal behavior in a normal neighborhood. Using the latest Unity Pro features, like HDRP, we’ve succeeded in creating a high definition recreation of a part of Lombardijen.
As we are nearing completion of the virtual environment we wanted to share a quick fly-through video of the neighborhood. We hope you enjoy this and get an impression of what is possible in VR-related research.
