This year’s visitors for the Network Institute Research Visits have been selected!
The Research Visits are our initiative for enabling interdisciplinary research across Universities worldwide. In October/November 2022 we hosted 7 Research Visitors from all over the world to collaborate with VU researchers.
This year, after a thorough analysis, four visitors were selected.
We welcome the Research Visitors for 2023:
- Peter M. Phillips from Spurgeons College, United Kingdom with the project “Live-mapping Religious Difference Online: the interplay of Digital Society, religious texts mediated online, and live-mapping”;
- Emmanuel Senft from the Idiap Research Institute, Switzerland with “Collaborative intelligence – combining the best of machine and human”;
- Aletta Meinsma from Leiden Univesity, Netherlands with the project “Engaging audiences in conversations about quantum science and technology through metaphor”;
- Franz Strich from Deakin University, Australia with the project “When algorithmic technologies change professionals’ social relationships: Exploring relational consequences of AI deployment”;
We want to thank everyone who applied, and we hope to see you next year.
