About FYS

The FYS aims to bring young scientists from the VU together. They provide a platform to give PhD-students and postdocs from the VU the opportunity to personally develop themselves on topics which are relevant to the challenges they encounter at the start of their careers. They do this in the form of interactive workshops and social gatherings. Their events are organized at a regular basis and center around three core topics: soft skills development, emotional wellbeing and career orientation.
