The Network Institute, together with VU Amsterdam and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy are pleased to invite you to the Nerdy Arts event.
About the Project
Between 22 April and 13 May, a group of students from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie work and present at VU Amsterdam. These students are part of Nerdy Arts, the experimental, interdepartmental new technology program at GRA.
They are joined by VU students from the Network Institute Academy Projects, which is the program that fosters interdisciplinary projects within the Network Institute’s research themes.
During this time, students will develop and present both new concepts and existing works. The presentations may take the form of poster displays, installations, or small exhibitions.
The project seeks to spark dialogue and collaboration between students at VU and GRA, particularly around the intersections of art, science, and technology. Presentations will take place in the following areas of the NU building (Vrije Universiteit)
- The street-side corner space
- The central hall
- The designated poster presentation space (top of the tall escalator)
