On October 16th, Swarupa Hardikar will give a talk about Concept Mining for Data Management.

Abstract: Data ambiguity within organisations is often a core issue hampering the management of their data. To counter this and support data managers, we introduce concept mining to analyse terms and concepts within text to analyse multiple interpretations of a concept (homonyms) and related concepts (synonyms) as well as extract/generate terminological definitions.
