Event: Expert meeting on Cognitive Linguistic Approaches to Biblical Hebrew

The ETCBC has a long history of developing digitals tools to study the text of the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). In the meantime, Cognitive Linguistic methods are increasingly applied to the study of Biblical Hebrew. A variety of these approaches have led to important insights, especially with regard to semantics, and there is a growing demand to incorporate these in the ETCBC database.

On 7 November, 9:30-17:00, leading international specialists will come together to discuss the contribution of Cognitive Linguistic research on Biblical Hebrew.

Scholars, students, and anyone interested in cutting-edge linguistic research on meaning and other aspects of Biblical Hebrew are invited to join this meeting and participate in the conversation. Register now and join us on campus or online!

This meeting is financially supported by Network Institute and Vereniging Hebreeuws.
