Since 2023, the Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities (KHMW) has awarded an annual dissertation prize of €10,000, to recognize research of exceptional interdisciplinary nature that bridges the boundaries between the classical humanities, sciences, and social sciences.
The prize is meant as an encouragement for researchers that have been promoted recently (1/9/2024 – 31/8/2025), and will be awarded to one researcher that is either Dutch or has conducted their research in the Netherlands. The prize is made possible by the Dr. Elizabeth Schram-Mulley (ESM) Foundation.
Nominations can be submitted until January 15, 2026. For more information and the submission form, visit the website of the KNMW.
