This year’s visitors for the Network Institute Research Visits have been selected!

The Research Visits are our initiative for enabling interdisciplinary research on the topic of digital society across universities worldwide. Since 2022, we have hosted a total of 18 Research Visitors.

We welcome the following Research Visitors for 2026:

  • Isadora Vitória do Rego Xavier from Universidade de Pernambuco, Brazil.  With the project “Following the Suspects, Missing the Network? Data Limits in Digital Money-Laundering Detection.”

  • Delfin Tursin from the Research Unit of Health Sciences and Technology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oulu. With the project “Learning Through Challenge: Passive Brain-Computer Interfaces for Personalized Learning in Medical VR Training.”

  • Svenja Breuer from the Department of Science, Technology and Society, Technical University of Munich (TUM). With the project “Facilitating Reflexivity in Participatory AI Health Design: Reflexive Monitoring in Action in DACIL.”
