Wrapping up the 2025 Research Visits

As we are approaching the end of the year, we can look back on three fruitful research visits in 2025.

The first two research reports are now available on our website:

Fabian Stiehle (Technical University of Munich, TUM) aimed at answering what possible strategies exist that can guide the engineering of value-driven platforms, in his project Towards Design Strategies for Engineering Value-Based Decentralised Platforms

Lianyiang Zhao (Carleton University, Canada) investigated how AI/NLP-supported decision making can reduce errors and inconsistencies in the manual assignment of CVSS vulnerability scores in his project An Evaluation of Language Model-based Hinted Decision Making for Training Human Security Personnel

Mara Floris (Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele) worked on Rhetorical Machines: How AI Persuades and Challenges Critical Thinking – the report is expected soon.

We thank Fabian Stiehle, Lianying Zhao, and Mara Floris for their collaboration, and hope to cross paths again soon!
