Connected World and the Network Institute cordially invite all VU researchers to submit their socially, culturally and/or scientifically oriented resilient communities projects for the calendar year of 2025.

• Submission proposal deadline: 18th November, 2024
• Communication of winning proposals: 19th December, 2024 

Twenty-first century communities need to prepare for unprecedented conditions of climate change, biodiversity loss, economic downturn, social unrest as well as increasing inequalities of global wealth, refugee antagonism and looming pandemics. For this reason, we are challenging researchers who wish to build on resilient communities, to join this project and submit a challenging proposal. With our research we aim to have real impact in unleashing the potential of the Connected World to assist in building resilient communities for the current and future society.
