The Network Institute is glad to invite all of you to the research symposium “Public Responses to the language of science communication: uptake, acceptance, resistance”.
This event is part of Anaïs Augé’s (UCLouvain, Belgium) NI sponsored research visit, in collaboration with Gudrun Reijnierse.
- When: Wednesday 20th November, 2024 – 9:30am to 5:00pm
- Location: Restaurant De Bosbaan, Amstelveen
- Registration deadline: Tuesday 12th November – registration form
Its aim is to bring together researchers from different disciplines to explore how audiences resist/accept communication about important science-related topics such as climate change, quantum science and vaccination.
The event’s dynamic schedule promises enriching intellectual experiences, featuring keynote lectures by distinguished speakers such as Julie Doyle, Professor of Media and Communication at the University of Brighton (UK), among others. Attendees can also enjoy opportunities for discussion and networking during coffee breaks, lunch, and a hands-on workshop.
