This week yet another robot arrived at the Network Institute Tech Labs. In the Game Cella’ Tech Lab a DARwin-OP robot made its entrance. This open-source robot is purchased by the Selemca project, but is available to all researchers. In the Selemca project it will be used together with the Alice Hanson Robokind and the Lego Mindstorms robots to test models on Emotional Affectiveness and Moral Reasoning in health-care situations.
The robot is extremely good at movement, has gripper hands and can be completely custom-programmed to suit your needs.
